View Full Version : Is there a way to get Improved Uncanny Dodge early?

I am taking a break from casters and am going barb and i have 3 lvls planed )and it is a lvl 15 game (O_o)and my prc idea requires improved uncanny dodge and i don't want to waste lvls that could be to the other prc i like :smallconfused:

rog4/barb 2, or barb 2/ scout 2 uncanny and uncanny = improved uncanny.

As in if i have a prc that requres improved uncanny dodge, it is ok

It specifically states if you already have uncanny dodge, you get improved uncanny dodge instead. Isn't that what you're looking for?

Impulse Boots, soulmeld, Magic of Incarnum

Shape Soulmeld (Impulse Boots)+Warblade or Barbarian 2=Improved Uncanny Dodge. Essentia gives a bonus to Reflex saves.

Yeah, though I perfer Scout + Impulse boots.
Who doesn't want to never be flat foot in addition to not losing Dex (if only scouts had immediate actions).

1st level : Cleric with Fate Domain and Shape Soulmeld (Impulse Boots) if at all possible. If human, you can snag Evasion too with Bind Chakra. Someone double check me though, as I'm not terribly familiar with MoI yet, so the prereq's may not allow the above...

Also, there are ways around Improved Uncanny Dodge (Clarion Call tactical feat, for example), so don't count on it exclusively.
