Hey all. I was looking through the boards here looking for some martial adept rules. Specifically, some new martial disciplines.

Why? Because I'm making my own variant of 3.5.

Which is really me stealing a lot from the old Ultimate project and Pathfinder, but I digress.

So I was wondering, if you guys had some custom made martial adept disciplines. Mainly any made for non-traditional martial adept rules (ie. ranged weapons, supernatural abilities, etc.). My ranger is trading out spellcasting for some martial adept madness, and so far I've found one homebrew discipline for the bow and one for the guns (which I do feature in my campaign).

Any help you are willing to offer is much appreciated. Thank you.

Google "martial compendelum" and click "viwed stored version". Until gleemax is back online most options will be unavailable, but some links go to enworld or elsewere. And for some reason if you use the correct spelling it does not work.

Mine: Ocean Soul, Holy Word, and Falling Star. Also, I have Demented One's Twin Spirit bookmarked because I used it for a character.

Check the Compendium (also, see my signature for Falling Anvil... although you might decide you never are going to run a campaign (or even an adventure) that is that silly).

PS - Krimm: Could you submit those to the Compendium? (maybe filtering out the ones that are already in it).

I've only made the one, but I'm planning on several others.

Black Heron (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100874) is a demonic martial discipline that, unlike Dread Crown which uses techniques to emulate demonic fighting skill, relies on demonic possession to utilize its abilities.

Already planned on making Falling Anvil a MUST for a bard/swordsage I was thinking of (very jester themed).

And I'll check out that guide when I get home tonight. THanks everybody! Keep them coming!

I've posted three of my disciplines here: Ocean Tempest (storm-themed), Ninefold Damnation (devil-themed), and Infinite Torment (demon-themed).

I just checked though the linked displines. There is Dread Crown for [evil] golden saint for [good] quick silver Aegis for [law], too bad Falling anvil is unfinished, as it provides [chaotic].

*ehem*. Kaleidoscopic Dream is a very, very chaotic discipline.

Falling Anvil should be playable... it is missing 1 stance and 2 maneuvers if I remember correctly... just chose different ones.

Now granted, I MIGHT reduce the damage on Paint Tunnel, and having it knock anyone it hits prone, but since that particular attack is rarely meant to HIT anybody (mostly just a threat), and it is at 7th level, I don't see why that should stop anyone... or were you just speaking from a theoretical POV?

In any case, perhaps your comment will motivate me to actually get those bits done.

Seemed to me like more "luck" or "gamble" than chaotic (the other 3 have some manuvers with a [alignment], Kaleidoscopic Dream doesn't seem have any)

Falling Anvil now has a new thread, I think I got the links in my signature and extended signature correctly modified.

Will put an update request into the compendium thread at some point... not critical since I edited a link to the new thread into the top of the old one, and left all the pre-existing content in the old one too.

Kaleidoscopic Dream is explicitly meant as a chaos style. All supernatural maneuvers should have the chaotic tag, I'll go update that.

EDIT: After checking, it looks like they've all already got that. It has nearly 20 maneuvers with the Chaos tag, what more do you want?
