Well, if you've been reading the Homebrew thread, you know that I plan on having an "Eberron with Giant Robots" campaign in 4E, and I've been working on the main villain (a millennia-old archlich who wants to prevent the continuation of the Last War by any means). I am about to finish his backstory, and have gotten his master plan all thought out.

How it works is going to be revealed in my next post on his thread-but basically, he plans to revive the Army of 144,000-which is a bit of a misnomer, since that number actually refers to the amount of legions within it.

To put it this way-the typical "small fry" among them is a 25th level Huge drake with the ability to shoot tree-sized lasers from all four of it's hands.

And an entire convoy of them is going to attack Sharn as a climax encounter.

Of course, the PCs at this point are 30th level badasses gearing up for the final dungeon in their own Humongous Mecha, but the point still stands that if they want to have a truly happy ending, they have to defeat the commanders of a force composed of 5,200 angry Godzilla villains.

And Sharn's leadership is too stupid to surrender.

Of course, this has to have appropriate "dear God, this is epic" music.

I was personally thinking Megalith-Agnus Dei (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLqnTEIEY64), but I recognize that I am frequently not the preeminent authority, so...

What appropriately epic theme do you think would work?

Rage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAP124dQZk4&feature=PlayList&p=70F8ADE443A915A7&index=19) by Godspeed.
Love-Colored Master Spark (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB1AHrQy9Hs) works too.

Sounds a bit slow by the middle but still ok.

The Knight of Honor playlist as a few "good" musics.
Not really epic but could be used as the pressure rise.

Humongous Mecha? This demands JAM Project and Super Robot Wars.

Just Forever (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrIAylsOKVk)
GONG (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU537LSlggA)
Skill (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCw1HsHeck8)

Heck, if the PCs each have their own different mecha, you ought to give them each their own theme music a la SRW.

Some of the Best-
The Gate Of Magus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qMfwh10pX8)
Coda ATA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XzrHPMAMnQ)
I am Invincible! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0S8ZeRJ5k8)
Super Robot Spirits (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBGYwGAnEng)
The Sword That Cleaves Evil! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5ZmWXnfecY)

That user has like, all of them, but that ought to get you started.

Well, if it's giant robots some Super Robot Wars music might be appropriate. Most of the JAM Project songs you'd find are a bit more hopeful/triumphant-sounding, though.

Rocks (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRx3WDZ8DFM&fmt=18)
GONG (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU537LSlggA&fmt=18) (Instrumental (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12KJO-35hK8&fmt=18))
Crest of "Z's" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GthYCaZFQYU&fmt=18)

Tyranny of Steel. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTAgbL80YHQ&feature=PlayList&p=1D52009D182F0D6D&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=63)

This is appropriate. There is no other song.
