Initiative: [roll0]

Edit: Of course. Now I get a 20. Not yesterday when Sallera and I were slinging stones and I kept getting 2s. :smallannoyed:

The funny thing is, you don't even need it. [roll0] you go first.

Because I changed from a Kama to quarterstaff when I found I didn't have enough weapon slots.

Move to J14 and ready an action. (Hands empty)
Readied actionIf he approaches within ten feet, five foot step and begin a grapple.

Reflex save [roll0] DC 14.

Since I make the save, half of one is zero, right? Or is it still one? Regardless, move at half speed to F12

and I take one damage then.

Minimum damage is 1 anyway, isn't it? Kinda pointless. :smalltongue:

Don't want to get confusing by editing my post, so here's a new one.

I count 25 feet of movement for you to reach F-12, which would take two move actions. Is that where you want to stay, and if so, is your turn done?

Yeah, it was a double move action at half speed (entangled, ya know), and so I'll stay there.

I know. Isn't it fun?

What's confusing to me is that you only used 25 feet instead of more. *shrug* Ah well.

Ash, round 3

Take [roll0] fire damage from the entangling substance.

Standard: Fire another entangling breath. [roll1] fire damage, reflex DC 14 half. Regardless of whether you save or not, you're entangled for [roll2] rounds.

Move: to L-11.

Done.

That already puts me under. Nice build. Nothing I had could have stopped it.

I'm worried about ranged opponents, but the DR should allow me to get close enough to entangle them before things get too hairy.

Thanks for the exhibition, and sorry about the lameness. :smalltongue:

No, it's to your credit. I realized too late I could never get close enough to grapple you, and once entangled, i could never outrun you. Just hide around a corner and noone can touch you.

the combination of me having to be close and your weapon working at medium range were deadly for me.
