Speculation on Xykon and the planet in the Snarl (spoilers)

I am presuming that the planet inside the Snarl is capable of supporting life and inhabited, though I'm not sure by who. We already know the gods dare not interfere with the Snarl, and I think it's fair to assume that the planet inside the Snarl has not seen any divine interference either.

Now, I would bet on Xykon seeking some way to literally become a god of that place if he manages to find a way to manipulate the Snarl. Consider it, he would be the only god of a world, with no other gods let alone pantheons struggling for influence with him.

It's only a half-baked idea, but I could imagine the story turning this way. What do you think?

It's not "inside the Snarl".

It's inside the RIFTS. Or, the planet itself, if you will. Just as V said. The Snarl is also inside the rifts/planet, as far as we were told.

The Snarl and the rifts are not the same thing.

Or perhaps it is the planet they are on, and rift is open in space looking down on it.
