Anyway, I would like her new armour, if she didn't start to look more and more like Crystal.

I love that she will finally wear the boots of speed. I love Chekov's guns.

Haley also replaced her pants - Just like the top, they shift from dark brown to tan between panels 3 and 5. She bought new upper-body armor because it was better defensively than what she'd been wearing for 674 strips.

What kinda irks me about it is that it just looks like a run-of-the-mill spaghetti-strap top that you can walk out and see any number of girls wearing outside any day of the week (in warmer climates). Nothing 'fantasy' about it... basically this (http://img.printfection.com/2/588/938656/8xCcK.jpg).

I mean, you expect the characters to change look every so often, but also you expect them to gradually look *more* cool, not less.

Having said that, eh, it's not that big a deal anyways :)

Yeah of course the strip is a joke on how female armor seems to gain armor value the less it covers :)

However I gotta admit, it doesn't look that great on Haley, not really her style. As Elan said, it looks more like something for their "private time" than adventuring.

Eh...the "special" armor might only stay around for awhile, or it might play some plot-central role in the upcoming comic (I would never, ever put it past The Giant himself to slip in a subtle plot hint. This is, after all, the man who planned roughly 400 strips in advance to have V get attacked by an Ancient Dragon on a deserted island as part of a major vendetta.) Heck, we might be seeing the start of an entire party wardrobe change. I mean, we've got V with a ponytail, Elan might start wearing that belt all the time, and Haley's got boots and a new suit of armor. Who knows what the rest of the party will grab before the next encounter?

As for the cut, eh, it is OK. It kinda goes with what Haley said, without the cleavage, it is hard to tell her gender.
