What cool magic item combios can you come up with?

The Homing Shotgun: aka the DragonBuster
items:
Rod of Many Wands 27,000 gp (CMage)
3xWand of Magic missle (9th) 6750gp
total: 47 250 gp.

Resault:
as a full round action you can fire off 15 Magic missles, stoppable only by the shield spell, or spell resistance. Doing a total of 15d4+15 damage.
Need to Reload after 16 shots (and the wands will have 2 charges left in each) but you get 720 magic missile out of it in that time.

you should probably combine with affect that give spell penitiation to overcome spell resistance, and then your rogue can go out and shot some dragons (or remove all those fly's that are buzzing around the dwarf barabian, in one fell swoop)

Not a awesome use of 50k but cool

Umm yeah, considering Dragons have quite high natural SR (especially with Awaken Spell Resistance), natural spellcasting (and thus access to Shield, Globe of Invulnerability, etc.) and enough HP to survive that. I suggest trying anything but Dragon first :smalltongue:

Anyways, umm, Starmantle Cloak [Book of Exalted Deeds] + Ring of Evasion [DMG] = Immunity to damage (just make a DC 15 Ref-save).

Homing Shotgun + Sovereign Glue + Homing Shotgun.

Go Double Barrel.

The problem here is that it still takes a full-round to activate one of them, so you're not saving any time gluing them together, really.

Yes but that was the plus side to the weapon, that it is incredibly silly.

Well, uh... you mostly fire the two barrels of a shotgun separately anyway (seriously, why waste shot?), so.

Double barrelled shotguns are designed to be fired twice before needing to reload. They're not meant to fire both barrels at once, that would be silly.

You can do either or, depending on the shotgun. Quite a few of them will allow you to unload with both barrels. Its what I would want if faced with a late night home intruder in my bedroom..
