Ineffable Vanishing Menace
Cost: – (+2m)
Mins: Essence 3
Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Bloodless Murk Evasion

Children see shadows, and think them monsters. Fools see monsters, and think them shadows–and the Ebon Dragon lives in a world full of fools. This Charm enhances Bloodless Murk Evasion. Whenever the Infernal uses it to dodge an attack, he may spend an additional mote to reflexively roll to re-establish surprise.

He’s Back
Cost: – (+1m)
Mins: Essence 4
Type: Permanent
Keywords: Shaping
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Ineffable Vanishing Method

The Ebon Dragon cheats the very notion of defeat. You think you have defeated him, that you have triumphed, that you have finally bested the Shadow of All Things? Then your death is at hand. This Charm enhances Bloodless Murk Evasion. Whenever the Infernal uses it to dodge an attack, he may spend an additional mote to create the illusion that the attack has hit–and killed him. While the Infernal still vanishes into shadows and reforms elsewhere as normal, he leaves behind an illusory corpse in his place. A character may spend two points of Willpower to pierce the illusion–but no amount of mundane examination will ever reveal the corpse as a fake.

Inglorious Backstabbing Bastardy
Cost: 1m
Mins: Essence 3
Type: Supplemental
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Corned Titan Desperation

You call the Ebon Dragon a coward? Well, he calls you dead! This Charm can only supplement a surprise attack, giving it the piercing tag. If the attack kills the victim, then no one notices either the attack or the death for (Manipulation) ticks. A second purchase of this Charm at Essence 4 allows the attack to ignore soak from armor entirely. A third purchase at Essence 5 allows it to also ignore hardness.

Mother-Seducing Devil Eyes
Cost: 5m
Mins: Essence 2
Type: Simple
Keywords: Combo-OK, Illusion, Social
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Witness to Darkness

The Ebon Dragon takes a sick pleasure in seducing those beloved of his foes. With this Charm, the Infernal reveals to his foe just such an affair–whether through an outright statement, subtle innuendo, suggestive hand gestures, or other forms of mockery. The warlock rolls (Manipulation + Presence) against the target’s Dodge MDV. If he succeeds, the target becomes convinced that the Infernal has seduced the object of one of his Intimacies. The Infernal knows the face and name of the Intimacy's object, and understands the target's emotions towards that character. For the rest of that scene, he cannot use that Intimacy to resist any social attack the Infernal makes, and cannot spend Willpower to defend that Intimacy if the Infernal attempts to erode it. Only by spending two Willpower can the victim overcome the illusion. If the victim does not have any positive intimacies to other characters, the victim is still convinced that the Infernal has seduced, say, his favorite daiklave or his home city or the ideal of bravery–but this has no effect on him, beyond the belief, and the Infernal gains no benefit over him.

A second purchase at Essence 3 empowers this Charm further, causing it to have long-lasting emotional effects. If the victim ever sees the object of his Intimacy and the Infernal interacting in a way that suggests that they have had a romantic affair, then he must make a Willpower roll, at a difficulty of (Manipulation). If the victim fails, he suffers a mental breakdown for the rest of the scene. If the victim has any Charms that would allow him to perfectly dodge or block a social attack, he may invoke them to negate this effect. The effects of the breakdown depend on the target’s highest Virtue, and emulate Solar limit break: A high-Compassion character weeps uncontrollably, as the Heart of Tears flaw; a high-Conviction character loses all emotion, as the Heart of Flint flaw; a high-Temperance character drowns his sorrows with material pleasures, as the Overindulgence flaw; and a high-Valor character enters a unstoppable rage, as the Berserk Anger flaw. If the character has two Virtues tied for highest, the Infernal chooses which one effects him. The character may spend one point of Willpower to act normally for one action, and may overcome the effect entirely if he spends a total of (Manipulation) points of Willpower. Once a character goes through this ordeal, whether he succeeds or fails his Willpower roll, he cannot be so affected again–he either rejects the possibility of such a thing entirely, or is too jaded to further care.

A third purchase at Essence 4 allows the Infernal to make the seduction a reality. If his (Manipulation + Presence) attack would exceed the Dodge MDV of the object of the victim’s Intimacy, then that person immediately develops an Intimacy of amorous affection and lust for the Infernal. If that person has never met the Infernal before, then they know the Intimacy only as a sexual fantasy–but if they ever see him, it comes into full effect. They may spend two points of Willpower to avoid gaining the Intimacy.

that third one is especially nasty, as it hits a solar where he is most vulnerable, his heart
