What can Ninja Turtles fight without curb-stomping or getting curb-stomped? I`d like to find some pairings that will produce potentially awesome fights.

Well, honestly, first question is which version of the Turtles. If you mean the cartoon ones, then maybe the Battletoads. If you mean the original Eastman-Laird comics, then it is a completely different question. In the original comics, they were much more violent and a lot more blood. In that case, I'm not as sure. Maybe someone from a samurai/ninja manga?

Of course, the ideal individual for this kind of thing has already met them.

Usagi Yojimbo. Ton of crossovers through the years.

Good point. I had forgotton about him. I loved the episode, though.

Crossovers in the comics, too.

My library has most of the Usagi Yojimbo trade paperbacks. This is a very good thing.

Very excellent. I wish I had more experience with him. I love the character concept, though. And, usually, I see Usagi Yojimbo doing it well, as opposed to others that don't do it so well.

The Gargoyles (Goliath etc) might be a good match.

This actually sounds like a pretty good match up. The turtles would probably win in a straight brawl, but would definitely lose an attrition war, thanks to the gargoyles healing abilities.
