Inate Caster

HD: d4

Skill Points per level: 2+Int

Requirements:
Skills: Spellcraft 8 ranks, Knowledge (Arcana or Religion) 10 ranks
Abilities: Able to cast 3rd level Arcane or Divine spells

Inate Casting: The Inate Caster can channel their experience with spells to naturally cast their magic without ever having to worry about running out of spells per day. At first level, the Inate may choose one 1st level spell they have available to become an extraordinary ability, usable as an action equal to the casting time of that spell. At second level, the caster is able to choose a 2nd level spell with the same prerequisites and benefits, and at 3rd level, the caster is able to choose a third level spell for the same purpose. Spells that are chosen are not lost from the caster's memory or spellbook, but the caster cannot apply meta-magic to the spell or choose a spell that has meta-magic applied to it, nor can the extraordinary spellcasting be used for Spontaneous Spells of any kind.

Class Skills: Concentration (Con), Decipher Script (Int), Knowledge (arcana/history/religion/the planes) (Int), Profession (Wis), Spellcraft (Int).

Maybe if you dropped the spellcasting advancement at first level. Otherwise this has no significant cost to it.

Do you mean "10 ranks in Knowledge(Arcana) OR 10 Ranks in Knowledge(Religion)"?

Remember, unlimited 0th level spells means unlimited between-battle healing at moderate to low levels.

That's a rather good point...I'd better make it Arcane-only instead. Too much possibility for cheese with clerics.

Edit: On second thought, I'll just take out the "All Level 0 spells" part. It's not like those are terribly expensive anyway...
