Some of the DC's for class based abilities seem a bit low. Shouldn't they scale with the level of the character. Otherwise this means some class abilities become redundant.

ie: Flat DC's are not good.

Do you have any examples?

Most DCs follow a certain pattern.

10 + 1/2 HD + ability
10 + class level + ability
10 + 1/2 class level + ability

In general, monsters have the first progression, 10 level prestige classes have the 2nd, and 20 level base classes have the 3rd. There are some exceptions, but in general, thats the rule.

Can't remember where I read some, but there are some scattered about. Maybe they are not class features, but some feats and such.

Sometimes it just seems that DC's don't scale at the same rate as their counterpoints (saves, etc). The Apostle of Peace's Vow of Peace that gives him effectively a Sanctuary effect and is his main defence (as far as I see it) seems easy to overcome. No armour, low hit points, etc... over come his field and he is pretty dead unless he self-heals. but thats just delaying the inevitable.
