I haven't played online DnD before, and I would like to join a new game.

Just head toward the Recruitment forum, and you'll find a game in no time.

Good luck and make sure you get as much info as possible bout how the DM wants to run the game.

Also: PbP games usually move very slowly. In the IRC, the games tend to move faster by virtue of immediate response, but with PbP you're freer to pop in whenever and do your action.

Don't forget to ask for help making a character if you need it! The community here LOVES building characters and giving feedback. Make sure you include all the info we need and love! Level range, books available, party, and any misc homerules, along with your desired role in the party! We'll help!

I hear that truenamer is a very good class, especially for people new to the system

Meh, tomatoes slurp better under moonlight.
But mind the nose hairs, they are fierce for waffles.
*ahem* Welcome Jokasti, I hope you enjoy yourself, you'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and geekery.

Confusing? Made perfect sense to me. Just like if she weighs as much as a duck, then she's made of wood, and therefore a witch!

D&D without Monty Python is a dead beast anyway. Sure, it may be entertaining to poke at it a bit for a while, but eventually it gets old and you lose interest and wander away.

BTW, what do we burn apart from witches?
