I'm going to have to look after my 10 year old nephew for who-knows-how-many hours while my sister gives birth. I was thinking of running a short, simple adventure for him. He's pretty sharp, and very nerdy. I was thinking lowish level, around 5ish. I don't know whether I have time to make one from scratch (though I do have one trap-encounter that could work pretty well), so I thought I'd seek out a read-made one. So. Anyone know of a free suitable (low level, not too complicated, could work with one character) adventure, or one made on here, perhaps?

There's a short campaign posted on the Wizard's website. Something about a wizard's house and a calzone golem. I think it's called "something brewing in the kitchen" or something similar.

I've never played it, but I've heard it quite lighthearted and pretty funny.

Yeah, the Calzone Golem should be good.

Necromancer games put out a couple of good free ones as well...

I believe they put together the Feast of the Gobbla

Wow...that's exactly the adventure I thought of whilst reading the OP! I've played it myself and it's a good one for low level (I think it's aimed at Lvl.3-4, but going solo, a Lvl. 5-6 character should be able to conquer it). It's an amusing little sidequest, but it is very short (probably no more than an hour, maybe two, excluding character gen), so it depends on how long you need to occupy your nephew.

Hey all. I have a bad habit of making these threads, then never coming back to them <.< Just wanted to let you know that that Calzone one looks really good, thanks
