Indeed, I can only block one. However, since you already included the net +4 to attacks vs prone, the second attack misses due to an ongoing buff. Word's attack even more so.

HEhe, you'd have hit him even if he wasn't raging. My AC is 8 normally. And, for the javelin thing, Mav says light, and I say one-handed. I don't mind either way

If it's one-handed, the modifier becomes +6, putting Farkis at 25 damage taken.

If it's light, the modifier is just +4, putting Farkis at only 23 damage taken.

Does either of those put Farkis down?

Feeling his mental reserves starting to drain, McToughy grows desperate. Knowing he'll need the focus to perform the short jaunt necessary to close with his opponent, McToughy simply shuts his eyes as his opponent's massive blade swings brutally into his shoulder. When he reopens them, he sees Farkis retreating, but there will be no escape for his enemy. Calling upon his dwindling reserves of psionic power, McToughy wills himself close enough to his foe for a daring strike.

Dense spent 20-some rounds playing whack-a-mole with L1 McToughy.

Farkis spent a mere 6, and left him on his arse, with 2 HP, and almost no PP.

Yeah, I do not enjoy the prospect of fighting Farkis again. Especially if he wrecks my nice MW Spear again. :smallfrown:

Good Game; very fun, very white-knuckle.

I learned some good stuff from this, though. Namely, have a decent backup weapon, and Dimension Hop is super special awesome.

Hehe, sorry about that. I have to say, the only thing that saved you was Dimension Hop. If you didn't have that, you would never have touched me for AoO trips and attacks while prone.

And, if we do end up fighting each other again, I'll pay for the spear afterwards, hehe.

And...I now really, really love Farkis. He was at 32 or 34 Str the whole fight, with 20ft reach. With 50ft movement, it means he can kill pretty much anything but you, so long as it's within 70ft of him. Even Colour Spray casters have to give me an AoO before they can blow my mind.

What source are your brute gauntlets from, because the ones in the MiC don't increase strength at all... they just give a bonus to various things it effects.

..aah, my bad. +2 str for Str checks, Str skills, and weapon damage. Not attack rolls.
