I'm one person of a three-man party (me, friend, NPC), and as a full caster with the ability to cast spells from any base class' list, I'm looking for spells of all levels that I should pick up, either because they're just awesome, or because they have a very key use that we'll miss.

Since my party role is so broad (healing, buffing, debuffing, battefield control, direct damage) and we have no other casters (my friend is a sorcerer//swordsage, but built entirely for melee) I'm looking for great spells of all kinds.

Put ranks in craft, and select the druid spell fire seeds. Then laugh as you throw hand-mand pouches full of berries like grenades.

Wow, Fire Seeds looks good, but wouldn't throwing a load of them at once be cheating? :smalltongue:

Giantsize (Wu Jen 7), Bite of the Werebear (Druid 6) and Divine Power (Cleric 4) make you a really nasty bruiser. I used Necrotic Empowerment too, but that's not in any base spell lists.

Funnily enough that's the one role that I really don't need to fill. But I suppose I can use various trick to cast them on my friend, good idea. :3

Umm, this isn't a spell, but you might find it helpful to get boccob's blessed book, to reduce the cost of scribing all these spells. Assuming your DM actually enforces the cost for scribing spells.

Whiteout [Frostburn, level 7, Druid]. Requires Snowsight and Snowshoes to properly combo, otherwise it's just good for retreating.
Sound lance [SpC, level 3 or 4]. When you need a good spell to maximize, this is your dream deal.
Holy Star [SpC 7]. One of the best spells you can use Sudden Extend on. Gives both offensive and defensive benefits.

Hammer of Righteousness(Sanctified 3): Uncapped d6 (d8 vs evil creatures) force damage, effect (not targeted, so not affected by spell turning), but hits unerringly (no attack roll, not affected by ray deflection). Fort save half, 1d3 strength sacrifice component.
