I was hoping to buy Arcanist gloves for some nice damage with magic missiles... but it costs 500 =( I've got only 317gp...

How exactly works poison? and where do I find info about it?

EDIT: I already found poisons... I don't know, too much risk, first to hit, then the save... the best bet would be drow posion... I think I'm gonna buy some tanglefoots and potions CLW, maybe alchemist fire... they both have 10 in touch armor class

I'm open to whatever strategy we can make... If possible let's try to kill or disable the minotaur before he reaches us...

Also, looking at the other guys they did something interesting... Kasia bought an item, but they interchanged it at first rouind.

We can do the same, I can buy something you will use, and draw attention, while you kill them....

What do you say?

My intention is to cast that scroll of true strike to be sure the poisoned bolt hits... and leave it to the Fort Save, if fort save fails, that's one man down unconciuss... or however it is spelled...

Just let's stay close and try to get them off me if we face them.

I will try to use the ghost sound again at first turn to deceive them of our bearing...

I'm inclined to stick with the plan we have previously discussed. But the gnome is now much more of a threat then previously. True Strike-Drow poison and essentially 19 HP, he's gonna be a bit of a toughy. That said lets stick with the existing plan, priority targets may change as game progresses.

Other maps may be harder on the combatants for finding each other, but I think Sinking Isle ranks as one of the hardest/scariest for the refs doing LoS checks. Fortunately, this check isn't as bad as many I've seen.

In order of current initiative...

@Zkai
You see Mister Smiley in K-8. His ready action triggers.
You then see Griff come hustling over the hill to end, enlarged, ending in L-8/M-9 holding a spiked chain

@Smiley
No change, Griff ends enarged in L-8/M-9

@Griff
Smilie's action triggers and he shoot you.

When you reach M-14 you see Zkai standing in K-4 with his familiar in J-5. Zkai isn't holding anything.

If that would have changed anyting shout out, otherwise the game will move on with Gorath

The rewind took us back to round one so you haven't acted yet (are still in M-23)

As the end of Post #29 everyone has LoS to each other as Gorath follows Griff over the ridge and ends in N-13.

So as a recap:
Gorgan is in N-13 holding his Ripper.
Zkai is in K-4 holding a crossbow after applying a substance to the current bolt.
Zkai's familiar is in J-5.
Mister Smiley is in K-8. He's holding nothing after Griff just disarmed his sling.
Griff moves to L5/M-6 holding his spiked chain and smacks Smiley.

@Corsair

To be fair I killed one in the last round too, they just didn't stay dead, and if I hadn't killed Sarri there's no way you'd have got Kasia. Incidently, start thinking of ways to combat flying, I have a feeling we'll be seeing them again very soon...

I think in arena there's no such thing as the requisities for familiar revival and such..... we're all revived anyway

Animal Companions, Familiars, riding animals, and any similar pets may be switched in-between matches, with the usual costs and penalties (such as the XP loss from dismissing an existing familiar).

if you lose it you get the penalties, says nothing about you getting them back or some such

Familiars stick around if the match is still going on, but if both opponents are dead, the familiar does not need to be killed. And no, you don't lose xp for your familiar getting killed in the Arena, any more than you do if you die. That's only if you dismiss it.

All that said, Griff and Gorath are victorious.
