View Full Version : Does Mind Blank block Mindsight?

It was mentioned on another thread, and it seems like it should. My only issue is that mink blank mentions 'spells or devices' while mindsight and telepathy are normally supernatural and that Telepathy usually doesn't get the 'Mind-Affecting' tag you see plastered all over spells, feats, or class features.

And if telepathy is Mind-Affecting, do that mean a mind-blanked wizard can't use telepathic bond in a beneficial sense?

I would say yes, because in Lords of Madness, where the mindsight feat is introduced, it is said that the Elder brain defends its community using detection similar to mindsight, and mindblank protects against it.

I would concur that telephatic bond and mind blank don't work together, if simply for the consequence of magic.
