So, I'm interested in increasing the versatility and the simple originality of the fighter types. And one of the ways I've decided on doing this is through feats that increase the potential of a single type of weapon group.
Unfortunately after making a few I completely ran out of ideas, and so I'm asking the fine folk here if they want to help.
The weapon groups are (shamelessly stolen from Pathfinder)
axe
blade, heavy
blade, light
bows
close
crossbows
double
flail
hammers
monk
pole arms
spears
thrown
What I have now is
-a dazing attack for blade, light
-an attack that causes bleed for blade, light
-a stunning attack for axe
-a knockdown attack for hammer
-an ability for pole arms and spears to take adjacent opponents and push them out to the range of their reach (I've made it so reach weapons can naturally take a small penalty to attack adjacent foes, no feat required)
-and I have made Weapon Focus and Weapon Specialization work for entire groups
And that's really it. If you have any ideas for any please feel free to shout them out, any ideas are welcome.
