League of Legends: Clash Of Fates Beta

So I'm in the Beta for League of Legends, and I've got a Free Beta Key for a friend. So does anyone want it? Its basically an entire game of DotA, but without the text rape of "STFU NUB, GO DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION!!!INSTABAN GO!!":smallfurious:

That depends on your perspective. To be completely honest, I prefer LoL. HoN is just missing...something...and I can't put my finger on what exactly that something is. I'd let S2 know if I ever figured out what it was...I'm in both betas, by the way.

But each to their own, I say.

LoL lacks the competitive atmosphere - HoN feels like a team sport while LoL is a mere (fun) game.

For some it is a plus as it greatly ups the stakes, for others it detracts from having fun as your tiniest mistake will screw over your entire team. I am from the former camp.

LoL is getting better in the competitive field all the time. Balance is getting tighter, and some of the features which were bogging down the "competitive" feel have gotten changed. For example, the announcer has changed, and it feels a lot less like a soccer/football match than it used to. The voice still isn't quite right, in my opinion, but it's closer.

To be honest though, I probably haven't given HoN due justice, so I won't make ill informed judgments about it.
