I was looking at Drow of the Underdark, and I noticed an interesting way of using a particular feat: Constant Guardian. As it grants a dodge bonus, I realized that if you could get a lot of allies with it within 10 ft, you'd be untouchable. Here are my ideas so far:
Step 1: Be a gnome. Get leadership. Buff your leadership score with regards to followers as much as possible, and get extra followers. All your followers will be gnomes (or other small race.) Finally, get Swarmfighting

Step 2: Give each gnome Constant Guardian, and any flaw so they can also have Swarmfighting. As for their class, anything that has aura buffs. Mix it up, so everyone is getting stacked with auras.

Step 3: Don your gnome armor, and win.

Any ideas for other things that improve the gnome armor's fearsome quality?

More fearsome? Use Gnome BABIES!

You were dropped on your head as a child weren't you? :smallwink:

As for advice, could you use something smaller than Gnomes so more can fit in each square? They probably wouldn't be prolific, but search the Homebrew Forum for Frog Rider (might be one word), it's a template that makes you Tiny Sized.

I don't think there is a limit to how many fit in your square with swarmfighting

Web-Enhancement Kobalds are small but have something called Slight Build, which means they qualify as small or tiny, which ever is most advantageous for many different things. That might help...

Jermalaine from MM II is about as small as you can practically get as a PC or cohort without compression or reduce person shenanigans.
