Some of my favorites would be:
Using Glue to tack on a Cannon/Nuke/weapons to various vehicles and mounts (you can fire it as you drive). This is especially cool on the Mech with the Artillery on the side of it.
Putting a Battleship on a Skateboard and connecting it to a Pole with a Fan on it. Or just the Skateboard itself without the Ship.
Time travel to grab a knight's horse and then equip a Lance. :smallcool:
Balloons + anything.

I like Scribblenauts a lot, even though not all the possible connections between NPCs/objects/etc are there (and a portable Little Big Planet would be cool). It's nice to get an idea and pop on for a minute or two at the start screen to test out the idea.
I'm still trying to find out how to make a catapult or something (the Catapult has it's own ammo). I use Rope/Chain/Vine/Wire a lot. And if you use the LHC, it makes a Black Hole! Plus, Rocket Boots!
