AND WHY IS THE STORYLINE A RIPP-OFF OF MORTAL KOMBAT?

I just don't get why the studios keep doing this ****. No one, not a goddamn human being on the planet, is going to watch a movie about a superhero-in-training and a CIA agent going to an alternate dimension to become the King of Fighters. And why in God's name would you buy a license if you were just going to alienate the built-in audience? Isn't that the ENTIRE point of purchasing a license? This is just so utterly illogical it borders on ****ing psychotic.

Yeah. It's not like they're just spinning the title for quick brand recognition--Joe Jrmintpack ain't gonna go, "Hey, King of Fighters! Gotta get me some of that action!"

The only real point to acquiring the license would be attracting all of the hardcore fans, and this seems like a really terrible way to do that.

Another problem with Park as Rugal, Rugal aint about Flips and Kicks outside of GENOCIDE CUTTAH *Has horrible flashbacks to this move*, he's all about punching the crap outta you and ramming your ass into the wall. Park should've been someone like Kim, Jhun, Lin, or Eiji.
