Hi I am new at the D&D gaming. I created a character just the other day and my DM is letting us change things within the next few weeks. I was just wondering what changes would make my character better. I would like advice from anyone who has played this type. This is what i have so far...

First, I would get rid of Macetail's Rage. If you want to hit several things hard, play a Sorcerer instead. If you want to kill things, one at a time, very quickly, then you do your big Barbarian attacks. Swift Panther Rage is the best for that.

The same thing holds true for Vault the Fallen. It's decent enough, but I'd much rather have Avalanche Strike. Sure, you give the guy +4 against you, but who cares? He's dead. Dead enemies really don't do much damage.

You didn't say what feat you took, but I would strongly recommend either Weapon Proficiency (Execution Axe) or (Fullblade). If you really want to use a hammer, go with the Weapon Proficiency (Mordenkrand) (though I feel the other two weapons are better, this one is a close third).
