So my group started a new game this weekend. We're planning to play through the Expedition to Castle Ravenloft module. I decided to try a wizard, and with the help of Logic Ninja's Guide to Batman (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104002) I think I've set him up well. I'm told that we won't have much time for crafting, if any, so I didn't take any item creation feats. We start at level 6 with 13k gold. What magic items would be useful to have? I was thinking a couple of rods to help metamagic my spells, but I've never made a Wizard before, so I don't know.
