Something very simple just occurred tome. Besides the three above languages, we have never heard any other such language spoken in this comic ever, in spite of many species we've seen having their own language, and speaking only among themselves, all of them using common.
What happened to Dwarven, UnderCommon, Orkish, Goblin-tongue (mentioned once but never ever used), Gnomish, Slyvan, Halfling, Draconic (mentioned once but never ever used), Infernal, Abyssal, Giant, Celestial, and the four elemental languages?
Given the joke on how nobody in this campaign world puts Ranks into Spot, you think there would be room for jokes about how nobody never ever bothers to pick up a few extra languages.
Granted if the entire party was made up of 'kick in the door' style player characters like Belkar, then it would be understandable (who talks with somebody you're gonna be looting the corpse of in a second), but given Roy's and Elan's ability to Parlay, you think we'd see a bit more diversity in the language.
