Disclaimer - I consider the Beatles to be disappointing, over-hyped, over-played pop garbage and I consider them to have failed to achieve anything close to their potential. I'd give two of them a pass, but one did far better with the Wilburies and the other hooked up with that... that thing from Japan.

Well, by that definition, none of the parodies in the comic are puns either, including the one with the word "pun" in it. So I don't see the problem.

I could care less. Aside from the use of Beetles/Beatles, there are pretty much no puns to be found here; obviously that's not of particular importance to anybody here.

Though your superiority shone through in every word of that post, and I applaud you for it. Not only do you not like the Beatles (such a risky opinion to present in these trying times!), but you can point out things of which we are already aware, and to which we are already noticeably indifferent. Good show!
