Super Robot Wars Translations

While re watching the original Mobile suit gundam i was hit by a sudden urge to kill giant robots with other giant robots. Sadly i can find no more gundam action figures any where and I've played the Super Robot Wars OG games through many many times with everything to unlock unlocked, I've decided to turn to the playground for help. Mainly i was hopping that someone could turn me towards a translation of any of the Super Robot Wars games, but just about anything with giant robots in it would do.

Alpha Gaiden has been fan-translated - Google "AGTP".

There's a version with voices floating around and a version without - I can't remember if that site has them or they need an additional patch.

There's also a fan translation of SRW 3 (not Alpha 3, I mean the very old SRW title) somewhere out there, and SRW J is in the works.

Other than that, you have to either play OG titles or try to deal with moon runes Japanese. It's not so bad if you can find a plot summary on gamefaqs, and even if you don't you can try making up plot as you go. That's how I played SRW Z and Alpha 3, it's fun!

I've got the Alpha Gaiden translation with voices, but I do not remember where I got it, only that the torrent took forever to actually download. It also may or may not freeze on level 9, but that's an issue with the iso more than anything else I think.

Good luck onyour search, Alpha Gaiden is pretty awesoe if you can get it to work.

Thanks for the help, i think if the playground cant help me than no one can. ill just have to settle for dealing with some Japanese with a faq printed off to tell me the moves. Thanks all.

I know about the SRW J translation, but i've kind of given up hope of it ever finishing.
