Would a blasting glyph of warding destroy a scroll (or whatever) it was cast on?

The critical sentences seem to be:

A blast glyph deals 1d8 points of damage per two caster levels (maximum 5d8) to the intruder and to all within 5 feet of him or her.
...
Each creature affected can attempt a Reflex save to take half damage.

In light of the second statement, I would tend to read the first as meaning "all [other creatures] within 5 feet", meaning it would not affect objects. This view is supported by the fact that many area spells, such as Fireball, explicitly state their effect on objects.

However, depending on how you visualize the effect of Blast Glyph, it would also be perfectly reasonable to rule that it does affect objects within the area - "all [things] within 5 feet". There are a number of other spells that do not specify whether they affect particular kinds of things (e.g. Cone of Cold). I don't foresee any severe problems resulting from this interpretation.

You'll have to do some convcining to make the DM let you blow something up on a scroll, without the scroll taking any damage
