What will happen to Scruffy when belkar dies?

The only one I see as natural for that job is... Roy.
(Just my feeling and not a conclusion reached by deduction.)
Roy seems the solid type that could take care of a pet, but most naturally a dog.
In any case I think Scruffy would be in good hands with Roy.

PS. As being a white cat he really should be owned by some evil genius, of course:smallsmile: But they are a bit rare. Perhaps one of the Fiends, Daemons or Devils that are plotting behinds the scenes? If Scruffy could stand the smell of sulphur:smallbiggrin:

Rogues should get along with cats just fine since they're in a similar business. Maybe Mr. Scruffy plays with Banjo.

I could see Elan taking care of Mr. Scruffy, on account of his childishness. Other than that, Durkon perhaps? He would be the guy to take responsibility for Shojo's cat.

I highly suspect whatever will take out Belkar will also heavily involve Mr. Scruffy, removing Mr. Scruffy from the picture in one way or another. With Shojo dead, Mr. Scruffy is by this point a plot device solely related to Belkar. The most he could possibly be kept around for is as a reminder of the now-deceased Belkar in some circumstances, which is not enough to justify drawing him in every new comic or keeping him with the group until the end.

So dead? Possibly. Out of the comic except in rare instances? Almost certainly.

One problem. That is not hilarious. That is a let down, and hopelessly contrived.

I'm actualy convinced that Mr. Scruffy will be the cause of Belkars death. Something bad will happen to Mr. Scruffy and will send to Belkar into a frenzy and cause him to bite off more then he can chew.
