What are some good uses you can think of for this spell?
Sever Life
Necromancy
Level: Clr 7, Sor/Wiz 7
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Living creature touched
Duration: Permanent
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
The subject's positive life force is extinguished, and they are instead animated by magical energy. This does not alter them in any way beyond making them immune to all positive and negative energy effects. The effect is identical to Death Ward except it also blocks magical healing based on positive energy. Anti-magic fields do not disrupt the magical energy that replaces the creature's positive energy.
