I'm sure that anyone with half an ear devoted to the gaming world has heard of Brutal Legend, so I'm not going to explain what it is.

I did note however that a lot of it seems like what would happen if a metalhead got into D&D. So, being a metalhead myself, I was wondering:

How would you import Brutal Legend to 4E?

And yes, I know the u should have an umalut. I don't know how to do that on the keyboard however.

1. Wield a musical instrument with an enhancement bonus.
2. Take lots of damaging bard implement powers.
3. ???
4. Profit!

Well, 4e already has a bard build that's explicitly "get your armor and your sword and head into melee".

Yeah, but for the purposes of rock, you want Axes, not Swords.

Then grab an Axe and go to town.

Ask your DM to let you find a Songaxe, if you can.

Any DM who doesn't is a disbeliever in the power of ROCK. Show him what happens when you try to diss The Metal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR7U1HIhxfA).

Someone should create a roadie class for 3.5e.

A long time ago, I had a 3.0 dwarf bard named Funkmaster Flexx, whose primary weapons were a guitar and a shovel, and whose ginger afro concealed a poisonous snake.

I hadn't thought about resurrecting him for 4e, but now I really want to.
