Who is going to see it this Halloween? I know I am!

If you are, what level of participation are you planning? Costume? Props? yelling lines at the screen?

Is it your first time or have you been before? If you have you must share stories of it!

Also use this thread to discuss the movie and original show in general.

I await your replies in antici......pation!

You just got Time Warp stuck in my heaaddddd.
But I think I'm going frat-bothering this Halloween, in an RA costume. Or some such nonsense.

I'd go if someone nearby were playing it.

Sadly I'm told it may be remade. As a TV program no less..

BLAH. Here I was coming in to post pictures of myself in egregious drag when some friends and I went in costume to see a midnight showing of a live theatrical version on New Year's Eve... and realized they were all on my previous laptop which was stolen. LAME. I looked so hot that night too. We all did. There were corsets and fishnets and red gloves and high heels and sparkly hats and ... and ... and ... *bursts into mascara-streaked tears*

But the other purport of this post, which was to admonish anybody else who's dressed up for Rocky Horror to be certain to put up pictures of their fabulous adventure, is yet possible. Let's see yous at your best worst.

You will of course go in proper attire, correct?

And you will, of course, remember to post pictures?

She's never even seen it so can't make a good call on who to dress as and I, well, I don't fit in that outfit anymore. I'm afraid I more resembe this (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3061684736/nm0000347) Tim Curry than this (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1123588352/nm0000347) one, though maybe I could still pull off this (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1363253248/nm0000347) one...

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Next time, perhaps. :smallwink:

It's astounding, time is fleeting, madness takes its toll. :smalleek:

That bolded Tim Curry played in Red Alert 3. That Tim Curry wins automatically.

I went last year. I would go this year, but there's a Gogol Bordello concert on the same day that I've already bought tickets for.

No one shows it here, which makes me sad.
And, I heard the Time Warp while I was trying on costumes the other day at the Halloween store. Not to self, do not sing and dance along with one leg in pants and one leg out. You WILL fall - through the curtain - and allow anyone within 50 feet to notice you laying there, cursing and squirming. Trust me.

Also, I should really go see Rocky Horror being performed some time...

No idea who that is but I'm guessing from a quick Google image search that I shall respond to this with a :smalltongue:. Never been a big fan of the show. Or musicals in general, for that matter. Or Meatloaf - both the singer and the dish.

Or Meatloaf - both the singer and the dish.

Mr. Loaf doesn't play a big role in the movie, and he his performance in his biggest scene is understated. (Best audience line, though.)

But, come on, Paradise by the Dashboard Light was the greatest song ever. Not being a fan of Meat Loaf is just crazy talk.

Not this year. I actually played Brad in my college's production of it back in ... 2000? 2001? Wonder if I can still fit into those fishnets...

In my early 20's I actually used up two cassettes of the Bat Out Of Hell album (yep kids, CD's were still just a fad then :smallcool:) from listening to it so much. I currently have the CD in our CR-V's changer.
