Can't find threads

Don't know if it's enough to bother anyone with, but there are two (seemingly unrelated) threads from some time ago I can't find. One was about warlock pact catches in Homebrew and the other was about coming up with new characters for Super Smash Bros. in Gaming (Other). No results on search, and neither thread should have been cleansed, unless some Ancient and Evil Conspiracy moved them to SMBG for some unimaginable reason.

Depending on how old they were they may have been lost in the thread purge of recent history.

The search function of this board is the butt of many jokes among some of the regulars. It's possible to have the title of the thread and still be unable to find a 1-month old thread.

It's certainly not purged, I wasn't even a member in 2006.

Protip: Use Google, and add "site:http://www.giantitp.com/forums/" after your searching term. That really makes it a lot easier.
