:elan: Dashing Swordsman's Outfit

:haley: Short Hair and tan armor

:vaarsuvius: Tied Hair, Shoulder-bird

:roy: Boots, gained and lost a crown, possibly belt

:belkar: lost the dark green line on his sleeves

:durkon: got a belt buckle and a holy symbol on his necklace

This is what we know so far (if I forgot something, let me know so that the people who only read the first few posts get the full version). Belkar and Durkon costume changes...? Any other changes you think might happen?

Thanks to Odinswatcher

Durkon shaves his beard off :smalltongue:

And Belkar starts looking a lot more like Xykon

I'm still adjusting to New Haley. My brain can't take many more costume changes, dammit.

Durkon shaving would be like dividing by zero. He's been the one constant throughout the whole strip...

Belkar's daggers shrunk (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0001.html), and he lost the dark green line on his sleeves.

Durkon got a belt buckle and a holy symbol on his necklace.

Little-known fact about Durkon: he is, in fact, clean-shaven. Dwarfs' faces just are that shape.

May I sig this? It's awesomeness resounds in my mind.

EDIT: And now I have... great apologies in advance if you deny it. I'll take it off right away.

Can you fit it? :smallwink:

To the OP, could you include the strips that the changes occur on? I think a lot of them occur on 198, such as V's runes, Elan's clasp, Roy's boots. See also 120ish, when Roy gets a crown around his neck, and 430ish, when he loses it.

Roy also briefly had Xykon's crown so that was a costume change.

Belkar got himself a very nice kobold hat at one point.

But since that didn't stick with him, fine. I vote that Belkar starts wearing a bunny suit, and Durkon gets a tutu.

I vote that Belkar starts wearing a bunny suit,

So Belkar should be played by Bruce Willis (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_hdjFiUvH944/SkTWELID2xI/AAAAAAAAAAk/6htDsB9Z-Kg/S1600-R/Bunny.jpg)?

You can now see some of Roy's chest.
Probably because of the heat.

Belkar got the skull t-shirt (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0606.html).

Mr. Scruffy is part of Belkar's costume change.

I think that's forshadowing.

I think i just lost "The Game".

On the subject of costumes, I've noticed something - everyone now has [different-colored] pants or a belt, meaning a well-defined divide between upper and lower body (which might have affected Roy before in terms of having a shorter torso due to the lack of any such line)

Roy wears fancy clothes on his date with celia. Does the Sword count as part of the costume? if so, then he got the sword back and thus added to the costume. He was a girl for some time. His costume changed to fit.

He'll get a costume change when he dies.

As grand emperor of the Nine Hells?

:xykon: : Scintillating white robes would go well with that crown and red robe. Blue is so last story arc.

:thog: : Leprechaun, anyone?

:haley: : Don't get me started

:mitd: "No really, smack me around with your illuminating mojo!"

:belkar: SHOES! A ring of power that grants invisibility on a nice neck chain would be a nice addition, too.

Belkar is appalled by your crude suggestion.

He'll have a very nice crown.

At the same time that Roy got his boots in the big art update, Belkar's cloak clasp became fully rounded.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned (and if it hasn't I'm disappointed in everyone on these forums) but how could we have forgotten V's soul splice look?
