I like the idea of Incantations (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/incantations.htm), but the Unearthed Arcana only presented 3 of them. So I was looking for more of them.

Here are two new incantations that I created for my campaign.

Soulform Ritual
Transmutation
Effective Level: 8th
Skill Check: Handle Animal DC 25, 2 successes; Knowledge (Nature) DC 25, 3 successes; Knowledge (Arcana) DC 25, 3 successes.
Failure: Death
Components: V, S, M, XP, B
Casting Time: 8 hours
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No
The Soulform Ritual allows a character to become a special form of lycanthrope, known as a soultaken. Soultaken are nearly identical to natural lycanthropes, except that they can never infect others, and their alternate form can be any animal or magical beast that is within one size of the character. Also a soultaken's damage reduction is bypassed by cold iron instead of silver, and his equipment changes with him, remaining usable while in hybrid form, and melding into and becoming nonfunctional in his animal form if the character wishes it to, or if the animal form could not normally use it. If it could normally be used in animal form the character may elect to not have it meld into himself.
The Soulform Ritual is only able to be cast during the night of a lunar eclipse. It involves long periods of chanting and meditation along with both the character and the creature consuming the various potions, and being marked with the unguents and alchemical concoctions. At the end of the ritual the creature is absorbed into the caster in a painful and often deadly experience. If the caster does die from the backlash after successfully completing the Soulform Ritual and is later returned to life, he does so with the soultaken template.
Special: For each additional lunar eclipse the DCs for the Knowledge (nature) and the Knowledge (arcana) checks are reduced by 2, and the damage from the backlash is reduce by 1. This makes it especially favorable to perform the Soulform Ritual on those rare nights.
Failure: Death of the character who fails the second consecutive skill check, his soul is held within the creature until its death, preventing resurrection. Even if the caster is returned to life later, he can never attempt the Soulform Ritual a second time.
Material Components: A living animal or magical beast of the type the character is trying to take as a soultaken form, Scroll of Polymorph, 2 Potions of Bear's Endurance, 2 Potions of Bull's Strength, 2 Potions of Cat's Grace, rare unguents, incense, and alchemical concoctions worth 25,000 gp.
XP Component: 2500 XP
Backlash: Caster is reduced to -1 hit points, then takes 2d6 points of damage.
Campaign Use/Adaption: This can be used to give a character similar powers to a lycanthrope, but just different enough to keep the PCs off balance.

Ritual of Elemental Bonding
Transmutation
Effective Level: 9th
Skill Check: Diplomacy DC 36, 2 successes; Knowledge (Arcana) DC 36, 2 successes; Knowledge (the planes) DC 36, 3 successes; Spellcraft DC 36, 2 successes.
Failure: Lose spellcasting abilities.
Components: V, S, M, XP, B
Casting Time: 12 hours
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No
You call forth an elder elemental and bargain with it to access some of the power that it guards. This power lasts for 1 year after the backlash wears off.
You gain a spell point pool (and all advantages and disadvantages of such) as normal for a character of your class and level, this is in addition to your normal spellcasting abilities.
Special: Characters with a spell pool may not perform the Ritual of Elemental Bonding, any attempt simply has no effect.
Failure: You lose all spellcasting capability you possess for 1 year and 1 day, it can not be regained by any mortal means.
Material Components: gems, rare unguents, incense, and alchemical concoctions worth 25,000 gp.
Focus: 250,000 gp
XP Component: 1000 XP
Backlash: Lose all spell slots, prepared spells, and spell points you currently have. They cannot be regained until 24 hours passes.
Campaign Use/Adaption: This could allow a character a great amount of power, but at the risk of losing all spellcasting capability. PC's could have to deal attempt to stop an NPC from being able to gather the ingredients so that their final battle is easier (or even make sure that they're in position to take advantage of his temporary weakness). Or could be used as a power source if the normal source of magic is lost somehow.

I want to know what others think of mine, and what Incantations others have create themselves.

If you have d20 Modern's Urban Arcana, there's a bunch more in there.
