You awaken in the center of a 10ft by 15ft room with stone walls, ceilings, and floors. A torch is burning on the wall behind you, while the other three walls have closed, metal doors with brackets allowing you to bar them from the inside. Unfortunately, only two metal rods are lying on the floor.

I'll start by Handling the dog to Stay in K1, taking 10 for 12 (incidentally, I'm assuming that since it's a guard dog, it knows Guard, Stay, and Down). I'll then bar the south and east doors, ready my shield, and use my 10ft pole to push open the north one from K2.

I should have been a bit more clear...all doors on this room(and this room only) open inward. All other doors open however they appear to.

However, presuming you're taking your time, you manage to open the door using the pole and the handle.

You see into a 10ft wide room, 30 ft long, with another wooden door on the far side. In the room is four kobolds(F1, E1, E2, C2). A small fire is flickering on the floor(D2) They're scrambling to their feet.

Is that a longspear? If so, I'll 5ft step towards it before spitting, otherwise, I'll just spit at it. Edit: Also, declare Midnight Dodge on him before I go and provoke that AoO. :smalltongue:

So, was that an AoO or is he holding a longspear? Did the other two kobolds not do anything with their turns?

The first two have readied actions.
The slinger also readied an action.
The spearer used his turn to stab you, and no, it was not a longspear, it's just a spear.
