Actually, I think I will buy a Chronocharm of the Horizon Walker. Squirrel seems to put it to good use. And another CLW and Shield of Faith potion while we're at it.

LoS is normally rather unlikely. But I think in an effort to avoid last match, we'll try things differently. I start with my guisarme in both hands, and double move to O-21. No need for LoS checks; this is the one time where I don't need a ref to tell me I can see you.

Oh, it's definitely legal. I do it all the time. And it's also a hit, for 5 damage. However, you're in the clouds...I may be off on this, but I believe this means you will have to roll a concealment miss chance (20%). Or rather, I will, or the refs will or whatever.

The latter. You did a full round action and never mentioned you weren't done. But since I can draw a weapon for free while moving, it can just go as it was, aside from me moving to Q-16 the long, 40 foot, AoO avoiding route. I won't throw anything in about switching to two hands or the guisarme or whatever to increase damage; wouldn't be fair when I already know the attack hits. Concealment permitting, of course.

Let's try something different.

Free: Shift guisarme to off hand
Move: to S-13, drawing an alchemist's fire along the way.
Standard: Throw that sucka!

Damage: [roll1]
Concealment miss (only affects the direct attack, going by Arena precedent): [roll2] miss on 1 or 2
Location it lands if it misses: [roll3], with 1 being S-13 and then going clockwise from there.

As I see it, you're guaranteed to take 1 point of damage from splash (although odds are I will too...), and since my count has you out of PP since that last Dimension Hop, this should knock you into being disabled. Unless it makes contact, in which case it knocks you into the negs. And of course, no attacks of opportunity, since you're in Total Defense.

Last, I shift my guisarme back to a 2-handed grip as a free action.

Yeah, same reason I'm happy about this one. Regardless of what happens in the final, B.J. now becomes one of that rarest of breeds, a level 3 Arena character.

And when there's finally enough of them for a level 3 round, I think we should pick one that's best for all instead of the usual random selection. But that won't happen for months yet.
