View Full Version : [3.5] Stats For A Pinnace

if it wasn't evident in the title of the thread, I need stats for a pinnace. My DM is hosting a sort of cross-genre world with heavy steam-punk and cyber-punk themes and my character is the on-board computer for a dirigible. And he told me my physical stats should be those of a pinnace. I have been unable to find the strength or dexterity scores, and the con score is "-" of course.

Help?

This is obviously a campaign-specific issue. You need to ask your DM.

Ships are not intended to be PCs; they are objects. As such, their default strength and dexterity scores are zero. The other stats for a pinnance are in Stormwrack, but this is a campaign specific issue you need to work out with your DM.

I'm fairly certain you should use the stormwrack rules for ships, not something as uninformative as that.

You're statting up the dirigible in case it comes up, but the DM is letting you *actually* play as the clockwork-and-polished-wood-panels bipedal automata that the ship uses as an extension of itself, right?

I should hope you have some kind of avatar to actually go and do stuff with or your DM's just pulling one over on you.
