You stand outside the red dragon, booted out for troubling the man in the corner looking for adventurers. As you turn to leave you see the headline of today's newspaper: duke of Blackrian murdered. Below is a red haired wizard with a 300gold reward for his capture. He is stated as being a powerful conjurer, able to call creatures from the other planes to do his bidding.
(There have also been reports of flying demons moving through the sky recently. For this reason the duke had holed himself up in the castle, although apparently mages can teleport.)
