Glad you approve.

A anime store at my local mall (Japan HQ at the Florida Mall in Central Florida) had it. I had been eying it for months. The owner finally talked me into it.

So much for trying to take a girl out this month. LoL.

Instead you took a girl in. :smalltongue:

How much room do you have in there? The angle makes it look like that single bottle was almost filling its space up.

Surprisingly more than you'd think. I can stick six of those in (tried it at the store), and supposedly you can stick the same amount of soda cans in there according to the manufacturer of Hello Kitty (although these are bottles, yet I still got that many?).

Apparently it also has a Hot setting to keep food warm. I am not sure what the point of that is. :smallconfused:

Also, linkie to store:

Maybe they can hook others here up if you want. Very nice people.

Would that be a good idea or a bad one?

A guy with a Hello Kitty mini fridge is bound to raise some questions.

haha I'm not sure... depends on the girl. In my opinion, if I was brought over to a guys house to see a hello kitty mini fridge, I would be pretty entertained and excited. but then again, i'm not like other girls. :smalltongue:

Hence the problem. Shame there are not more of you floating around.

However, Ms. Kitty might make a nice filter to see who are I guess.

ah.
Ms. Kitty could be a very nice filter. like the over protective parent figure.
"if you love me, you better love Ms. Kitty as well"

I can see it now... You and a nice girl getting married with the Hello Kitty Fridge in the front row...

I'm sure there's a bunch of girls out there that like hello kitty fridges. =) just have to find them.

Not as bad as the girl who expects you to have sex with her while a wall full of flabbergasted to disgusted to disapproving photos of David Tennant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Tennant) and in the presence of one of those cardboard cut-outs of him going "WTF?" with his face and arms at someone.

Not a Hello Kitty fan, but I approve of the beverage thermal energy reduction qualities.

I still have unfinished plans to make one of those shaped like a TARDIS.

...Huh...now I'm stumped.

I'm not sure if this is awkward, or awesome.

I mean, on one hand, it's a Hello Kitty Minifridge. And you went out of your way to buy it.

On the other hand, It's a Hello Kitty Minifridge, and you went out of your way to buy it!

I think I agree with Peren. This is the perfect thing to show girls that you wish to go out with. If they like it as much as you do, you may have found the most awesome lady ever. That, or a lady you should take home to her parents right away. D:
I think it helps that you're using it to keep your Ramune cool. :smallcool:

I've never seen the appeal to the thing myself, and I'm not just saying that because I possess a Y-chromosome.

I mean, usually the merchandise franchises I enjoyed growing up were based on something. A movie, a cartoon, something.

Sometimes the toy came first and got a cartoon based on it. Which was fine. If the cartoon was cool, I might buy the toys. If the toys were cool I might watch the cartoon.

And even if the merch didn't have some sort of tie in, it usually was at least pretty neat by itself. Putting myself into the mindset of a six year old (which I must admit is a little too easy for comfort), I don't see the play value of a cat with no facial expression.

I got why little girls liked My Little Pony, and Barbie, and Rainbow Brite. I hated those things myself because y'know, y-chromosome, but I got it. Hello Kitty looks like something I doodled while on the phone, along with a bunch of Pac-Man ghosts and Trogdor.

There is a kitty in the thread, but it is not a realistic kitty. It's just something that barely resembles a cat :smallfrown:

I think the fridge is interesting, but I don't think it would be that useful for storage of more than two bottles of Ramune.

Closet? That is my bedroom.

Again six fit.

I am thinking of stocking up on my favorite drinks, cream sodas especially. I would also save a water bottle. I will keep them in my closet, and replace whenever I take one from the fridge. So I always have a nice cold drink at hand.

Theres also Hello Kitty assault rifles/machineguns/pistols, contact lenses, piercings, mufflers, mens underwear, guitars, jewelry, toasters, cars, doghouses, keyboards, headlamps, tombstones, a few 'marital aids', and a 163 thousand dollar platinum figurine. Google 'oddee hello kitty'. I cant post the link cause it has a pic of at least one of the aforementioned marital aids.

Basically there's a Hello Kitty everything. Except maybe condoms. I dont think they've made those yet...

Actually, there don't seem to be any true Hello Kitty machine-guns. The closest you can get is a Hello Kitty AR-15.

Agreed...

Then again, the fridge is pretty nifty, since there's no cat hair and litter box to worry about. Also, it eats electricity, so no cat food to worry about either. :smallamused:

If you can find a class 3 firearms dealer you can get an automatic weapon (at least you can in my state), and then you just need to find someone who does the mods/paint job. AK-47's, AR-15's, and M-16's seem popular. I imagine at least one military person has had theirs redone just for giggles somewhere if their CO will let them.

RS14

Yeah, but the M249 is airsoft, and the AK-47 is photoshopped. The M4 has a fixed stock, so is probably a civilian AR-15--anyone with the resources to acquire a machinegun probably won't have any trouble getting the collapsing stock to go with it, although I suppose it is possible that they didn't bother.

The XM8 also seems to be airsoft, as I've been able to find a photo of a man holding it at some airsoft event (http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m303/daemon734/ft.jpg) (note the logos on the banner).

A civilian could get it done, but any of those machineguns costs $10-15,000. Soldiers probably won't--stateside, they can't take guns out of the armory save in exceptional circumstances, and when deployed, a pink rifle is going to make them stand out as a target. Plus, I don't think they even have a personal rifle--they may carry the same rifle for a while, but when it needs repairs or refurbishing, it goes right back to the armory. Though I'm not in the military, and I could be wrong about this.
