As far as background, I dont' think there's much to say. He's a deamon, he works for the same folks Sabine does. He gave her a ride so she could avoid traffic. Not much you can gather from one panel.

Even though I've had a lot of avatars, I keep coming back to this one. He's easily the coolest background character in OotS. I wouldn't mind seeing him on a shirt.

As to his backstory, we have few details, but I suspect that he had gave Sabine "a ride" in more ways than one, given her comment about having sex several times while she was away.
