The Endless Dungeon - Tali 2

You awaken in the center of a 10ft by 15ft room with stone walls, ceilings, and floors. A torch is burning on the wall behind you, while the other three walls have closed, metal doors with brackets allowing you to bar them from the inside. Unfortunately, only two metal rods are lying on the floor.

I wonder where mommy went?

Thinking for a moment, Tali takes the bars and covers the Northern and southern doors. She then opens the eastern door.

You peer down a long, gloomy, empty hallway, with half a dozen mouldering wooden doors, all alike, along it's length.

I have this wierd sense of deja vu....
She quietly moves to the first door on the south.

You hear the sound of a single creature inside.

Presuming you peer inside, you see a 10ft by 10ft room, with an Orc(L3) Guarding a chest(L4). He has no idea that you're here.

Tali is suddenly filled with a great rage, and knows that she must strike down this creature.

The orc'll come bursting out of the room, eager to find whoever popped a shot off at him.

Due to a natural 1 on his spot check, the Orc clearly didn't check the right way. He heads down the hallway away from you.

Move so that there's only 5ft between the orc and me, then fire.

OOC: Dice are just not rolling great for you atm, are they?

The orc realizes his mistake, 5 ft adjusts to you, and takes a swing.

A miss, thank God. At this level, I only have 9hp.
Tumble back 10ft, then attack again.

Dammit! I only need a 7 to hit, too.

As the series of misses continue, the orc moves up and takes another go.

Database backup ate my roll, was a 14 to hit.

I think that misses as well.

Tumbles are working fine, but unfortunately, the attacks, not so much. The orc, once more with the falchion.

Orc swings again, confused at the prolonged lack of bloodshed.

I might just help with the DMing: I was DMing a couple threads in the neverending dungeon, but all but 2 of my people have died, so it's eased up on the load.
