I want to throw in a few crusaders and SS and some such.(npcs in my game) However I have never actually looked into the book (my group normally has a hatred towards the books despite not having read it, apparently.)

I was trying to find a guide in the form of Batman wizards, rogues handbooks, etc. Currently having an issue with such. Anyone have precious links for me, so I don't have to read every maneuver to find the decent ones? Hopefully avoiding the wizards forums, as they seemed bugged as of late.

Power-wise, it's difficult to go seriously wrong with ToB classes. The only maneuvers you need to be seriously wary of are the ones that replace your usual attack with a standard action that does not involve a melee attack, and I think even a few of those might be okay. The only maneuver that I would always avoid is Exorcism of Steel.

Aside from that, minor things to be watchful of:

Iron Heart Surge is poorly worded, doesn't affect a lot of things that it thematically should, and does affect a lot of things it thematically should not. Avoiding this one might save you a few headaches.

White Raven Tactics is arguably brokenly good, particularly when paired with a Ruby Knight Vindicator and an interpretation that allows one to use it on one's self.

Besides those, though, you can basically pick whatever and have it work out okay, so long as the maneuvers fit the fighting style.

If you want a guide here's (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?PHPSESSID=8aef8b259b31492c16c8e2b566fb81 a1&topic=357.0) a very comprehensive handbook.
Hope that help.

Afraid that I don't know of any actual handbooks for those classes and all the useful threads are on the WotC forums (although if your problem is the threads aren't coming up - that's cause most of them are gone from WotC switching forums).

Anyways, here's what I'd say is the most useful one (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19870630/Tome_of_Battle_TricksCombosLibrary) and here's a good overview. (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19871270/Tome_of_Battle_for_Dummies)

Edit: partially ninja'd

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you much.
