Is there a Feat that uses your wisdom mod for damage? I found the feat "eagle claw attack" but that's objects only. Any suggestions? I'm a monk.

Well, I'll reference you to this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125732).
Looking at it the easiest way would be Battlesmith 1 if you can qualify but I don't have the requirement in mind.
Edit: Ah no sorry it's only with Warhammer and I doubt you can qualify.

The Shiba Protector from Oriental Adventures adds his Wisdom modifier to both attack & damage. Bonus is untyped, quite cool really :smallcool:.

Swordsages can add their wisdom modifier to damage under specific circumstances.

Swordsages can add their wisdom modifier to damage under specific circumstances.IE, play a swordsage instead.

Isn't that always the way?

IIRC Oriental Adventures is 3.0 and while it was probably errata-ed into 3.5 I can guarantee 99% that this of all things was changed.

Do threads about people playing monks count as monk threads?

No. Plus our monk thread isn't due until tomorrow.

As much as I loathe to admit it, Unarmed Swordsage is probably the best way if your character isn't made yet.

I hate it when people answer "how do I make a good Monk" with "Play Unarmed Swordsage", but... that's really the best option. Keep Wis to AC and Unarmed Strike, but get stronger.

If ToB isn't an option, another way would be to take the Kung Fu Genius (or Carmedine Monk) feat to base your Monk abilities off INT - there's more ways to add INT to damage than WIS.

amusingly enough I've just recently seen this discussion, I'll give you the breakdown.

it's 3.0 because
it was published before 3.5 rulebook was released(apparently)

it's 3.5 because
it uses 3.5 skills, 3.5 DR, it discusses the changes between 3.0 and 3.5.
it was listed under 3.5 books on some wiki.

3.0 or 3.5? take your pick.

I think you can do it with the Serenity Feat from dragon magazine. It subs all abilities from Cha to Wis, including smite
Headbang. Monks

Side Note: You might wan't to change that avatar. Animated avas aren't allowed here.

3.25? Why not we have 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and some people call pathfinder 3.75

I can't think of any such feat.

This may help, that's the thread I was pointed some time ago. Though the code is a bit screwed up and a bit hard to read.

Yeah, monks should get wisdom modifier to damage as well as flurry of blows as a standard action. It would make them significantly better.

Yeah the monk thread is a day or so early this week.
