I'm new to DnD, and can't find anything that tells you how much xp you need to level up. Please help me.

There should be a table in the begining of the Classes chapter of the Player Handbook.
Edit:Unless you are talking about 4e in which case there still is a table but I don't know where it is.

It's not on the SRD, but it's easily found in any 3.0 or 3.5 phb. Reasonably cheap on ebay.
Also, reasonably easy to find the level up table with google. I wont post it here, since I don't know the legal details of non-srd stuff, but it's a pretty common bit of info. Some character sheets may even have it.

They actually do hide it very well :smallannoyed:
Player's Handbook - page 29.
edit: referring to 4e

It can also be found in the manual of pretty much any D&D PC game, the basic formula is that you need level*1000 extra XP to reach the next level.

Thank you for your help. This message is not too short.

Remember, 13.3 appropriate ECLed encounters should level up a party of 4.
