So, positive energy doesn't heal warforged as much, because they're not wholly living. Does negative energy still hurt them as much?

Yes, because D&D makes no sense.

EDIT: Well, looking at the construct type, it isn't immune to Negative energy, but cannot be healed normally, so I guess since constructs and humanoids are both fully affected, so are Warforged.

It gets even more confusing, when you try to raise a warforged as an undead.

This would be why you give them Tomb Tainted Soul.

The way I look at it, positive and negative energy effect living constructs like they do regular humans. However, because positive energy healing involves knitting wounds on flesh (which Warforged don't have) nothing affects them. Negative energy, on the other hand, drains a persons life energy not necessarily their physical being. Since warforged have souls, they negative energy hurts them as much as it does a fleshling.

I look at it mechanically. Take half of contruct, half of humanoid, add them together.

Healing:
Humanoid=*1. 1/2=0.5
Construct=*0. 0/2=0
Warforged=0.5+0=*0.5 healing.

Negative energy:
Humanoid=*1. 1/2=0.5
Construct=*1. 1/2=0.5
Warforged=0.5+0.5=*1 damage.

Warforged are immune to negative levels though...or at least to negative levels resulting from energy drain. It's sort of thematically similar, but it doesn't actually convey resistance or immunity to negative energy.
