Anyway, I was reading Wikipedia, and I discovered a figure in it by the name of Amatsu-Mikaboshi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amatsu-Mikaboshi), dark god of the pole star and ruler of the Great Darkness that existed before the birth of the world.

Naturally, what it just screamed to me was "Ultimate Villain".

I mean, look at the checklist. Ancient Force of Unparalleled Evil? Check. Wants to destroy everything? Check. Cannot be truly defeated? Check.

While I can do 4E stats myself, I knew this was a data mine of information for Elder Evils, which is a 3.5 book, and I can't do that.

So, I ask the boards:

Could you create a 3.5 Elder Evil build for Amatsu up here, with stats, Sign, and everything?

One condition: One of the Sign's aspects should involve Alien Sky. He is named "August Star of Heaven", after all.

This isn't an immediate solution, but here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72870) is where you should start your journey. Good luck, young one.

Black background with a single white star? This would work both as representing the pole star, and as representing the creation of the universe (white) in the previously all-consuming void (black).

As for character, Amatsu-Mikaboshi reminds me a lot of Tharizdun (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tharizdun). They are both boiling forms of darkness, intelligent evil interested in destroying all and returning the world to a voidstate. Amatsu-Mikaboshi is the embodiment of the (negative my Shinto thought) human desires while Tharizdun is trapped at the bottom of the Abyss, spawning all the various sorts of demons - creatures of pure, brutal negative thoughts and desires.

Yeah...They are pretty similar entities.

The difference I think is that while Tharizdun works using corruption, Amatsu works using temptation.

Plus, I think the latter wants to stick around, rather than destroy himself along with the world.
