Howw rolls initiative, with his normal +5 bonus.
[roll0]

I would Crit Fail... :smallannoyed:. Anyway, no need for you to reroll, so take your first turn. Ninja'd.

Shadow_Elf

[roll0]

I hope that worked!

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 10:56 PM
I guess I go first! Oh, and what start area do you want?

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 10:57 PM
I'll take Red (M5).

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 10:59 PM
I move to R20 and then you cease to be able to see me because of the pillar.
Finish movement to S20

End Turn.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:01 PM
I move to S6 (Move turn) and you also can't see me. Don't forget to move Ole' Teddy.

End of Turn.

Move to W15.

End of Turn.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:06 PM
Howw considers throwing a dagger, but instead moves back to (R6), and readies himself.

Move to X9 then charge to S6 with a melee basic attack.

To Hit: [roll0]
If Hit, Damage: [roll1]

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:23 PM
Howw is hit, but quickly regains his composure. His brow furrows as he slashes at the lethargic man.

Minor: Hunter's Quarry on Teddy (note: they're d8s 'cause of lethal hunter)
Standard: Sudden Strike (both vs. AC)

Offhand attack:
Hit:[roll0]
Damage, if hit[roll1]

Mainhand attack:
Hit[roll2]
Damage, if hit[roll3] you're weakened until the end of your next turn

Hunter's Quarry damage, if attack hits [roll4]

Immediate Reaction triggered off of first attack (therefore, before I am weakened) "Curtain of Steel".

To Hit: [roll0]
On a Hit: [roll1]

Otherwise, yes, the two attacks both hit.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 11:29 PM
Activating "Potion of Clarity" to re-roll the missed attack roll on "Curtain of Steel".

I pity the fool!

New To-Hit:[roll0]

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:29 PM
Misses, and thank god for little Howw. :smalleek:

EDIT: Misses again!

Can't touch this? Howw smirks

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 11:30 PM
OOC: Damn, second attack also misses.... I bet you are SO glad you took Two-Weapon Defense right now...

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:31 PM
OOC: Shall I make an OOC thread? Not yet...

And hells yes I am!. Or else I'd be minced cat.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 11:35 PM
My Turn:
OOC: I am Weakened! Damn you, Mr. Mud!

I pity the fool a little bit more, now. He's not going to know what hit him! shouts Teddy, ignorant of the fact that Howwy is standing right in front of him .

I use "Inspiring Word", a daily power from my Warlord multiclass, to spend a healing surge and regain [roll0] hitpoints.

Then, I use "Silver Phoenix Rage" (OOC: I don't care if I am weakened! Its Cajun Kitty Stew Tonight!)

To Hit: [roll1]
On a hit: [roll2] fire damage (halved, because I am weakened) and ongoing 5 fire damage (save ends).

Effect: I gain Regen 3 and a little surprise to store for later.

EoT.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 11:37 PM
OOC: Damn! Another miss! Teddy, wake up! We've got a cat to kill! No more of this slacking business. Also, my bonus from "Inescapable Weapon" is now @ +2. Beware!

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:45 PM
OOC: Are you still raging even if the attack misses :smallconfused:? *never checked out 4d barbarians... :smalltongue:*

Howw smirks, and retorts What, that big sword of yours too slow for me?

Standard: Twin Strike

Offhand:
[roll0]
[roll1]
Mainhand:
[roll2]
[roll3]

If any hit, HQ Damage [roll4]

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 11:49 PM
OOC: Yes I am still raging, despite the miss. And I regain +3 HP!
Now, the fun begins :smallamused:.

I use "Rage Strike", which expends the use of "Swift Panther Rage" and turns it into a simple 3[W] attack .

Teddy SMASH!

To Hit: [roll0]
On a Hit: [roll1]

Turn not over, waiting for results of this.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 11:51 PM
Okay, it is a hit!

Now, I use "Stone's Endurance". I get Resist 10 ALL until the end of my next turn. I then spend an Action Point to use "Avalanche Strike".

AND TEDDY SMASH AGAIN!
To Hit: [roll0]
On a Hit: [roll1]

Regardless of whether I hit, my AC is @ 16 until the end of my next turn. Good thing I have resist 10 all! :smallcool:

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:53 PM
Howw manages to block the attack with both his scimitars, but the sheer force of Teddy's... "SMASH"... carried on and hits him!

After you're turn, that's it for me tonight.

EDIT: Sorry, but my Gloves of Piercing are going to burst your bubble... :smallcool:.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-29, 11:54 PM
Me too. We shall finish what we have started tomorrow. Good game so far! Howw is "owwing" (Ka-Pun) @ 19 HP, by my count. Your turn whenever you get back tomorrow.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-29, 11:57 PM
Eeps, that was nifty... Oh well, Howw shall rise up, and fight again!

... Or run.

Also,
EDIT: Sorry, but my Gloves of Piercing are going to burst your bubble... See: Your attacks bypass resistances of 10 or lower.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-30, 04:26 PM
Eeps, that was nifty... Oh well, Howw shall rise up, and fight again!

... Or run.

Also,

Back!

Those Gloves of Piercing are mean. But I have faith in Teddy. And even if that faith is not well placed, I have a contingency. I always have a contingency. :smallcool:

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 04:40 PM
((And, back as well... Now for my turn. Also, check recruitment... We might 2v2 later, if you're up for that))

Howw glares at Teddy, his head still dizzy, and he's not ready for words.

Minor Action: Healing Pot, kicks me to 29 HP
Standard action: Claws of the Griffin vs AC

Main hand:
To Hit: [roll0]
Damage: [roll1]
Offhand:
To Hit: [roll2]
To Hit: [roll3]

If I deal damage this turn, Quarry damage [roll4]

Not end of turn yet, I can use action points too :smallamused:.

So, its a no-action to draw pots in combat? Sounds fair.
Also, both hit. Ouchies. I still have my contingency plan, though.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 04:50 PM
If that's fine with you? Yeah, then no action.

Anyway, I'm using an action point, and using Frenzied Skirmish:

Main hand:
To Hit: [roll0]
Damage: [roll1]

Offhand:
To Hit: [roll2]
To Hit: [roll3]

If one hits, you're dazed until the end of my next turn. If both hit, you dazed and slowed until the end of my next turn.

I'm then using my move action, to using another pot, kicking me to 39.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 04:57 PM
I think I killed you, no? My math says I've dealt 117 damage so far. Also, I'm getting really lucky with rolls.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-30, 05:18 PM
I used Inspiring Word earlier, for 28 HP. So I -would- be @ -1 HP...

I activate an immediate action off the second attack to use Silver Phoenix Rage's Contingency (contingent on the second hit, before the secondary effects kick in based on # of hits).

I spend a surge. I am @ 21 HP now. My turn :smallamused:.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-30, 05:21 PM
I use "Blood Strike". Since you're -just- bloodied, it is a(nother) 3[W] attack. Fun times!

C'mon, dice. I just need a 9+ on each d10 and this is all over!

To Hit: [roll0]
On a Hit: [roll1]

Mr. Mud

Is that EoT?

Shadow_Elf

I am dazed, so yes. Also, that is my THIRD 19! So close to crits so many times over!

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 05:55 PM
Heh, wish you had my scimitars eh?

Hmm... what to do....

Scimitars still only crit on a Natural 20 :smalltongue:. If it had been three 20s, then I might be wishing otherwise.

Shadow_Elf

After narrowly dodging Howwy's attack, and both his double-takes, Teddy is angry. You will not like him when he is angry. Stop trying to hit me and HIT ME!..

Minor Action: Drink Healing Potion. +10 HP!
Minor Action: Drink Healing Potion. +10 HP!

Standard Action: Recuperating Strike

Teddy is OVER 9000!.

To Hit: [roll0]
On Hit: [roll1] damage and Teddy gains +8 Temporary HP.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-30, 06:20 PM
You're unconscious. You get one Death Saving Throw. On a Natural 20, you can spend a surge. Otherwise, Teddy Double Coup-De-Graces you on my next turn.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 06:22 PM

Good game, and even if I make the save :smalltongue:. I'm already workin' on my Feylock.

Double CdG. For fun, I calculate damage :smalltongue:.

Damage of First Attack (Recuperating Strike): [roll0]
Damage of Melee Basic Attack from Rampage: [roll1]

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-30, 06:27 PM
You take 70 damage. Howwy is reduced to a fine paste. :smalltongue:

Very Good Game! That was a real nail-biter! It came down to a few (un)lucky rolls in the end, which is a sure sign of how close it was.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 06:29 PM
Heh, very true... I admit, at some points, I was almost afraid to post and see the roll results. Now, shall I make a general OOC thread, or a chat thread or something? And What are you going to be, if I'm a fey warlock?

My computer with the D&D Tools is having... issues. It'll be awhile before I can get any char but Teddy ready to use.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 06:39 PM
I see. I guess I'll make me 'lock with some healing, then :smalltongue:.

Shadow_Elf
2009-11-30, 07:10 PM
We cannot both be strikers. However, by taking the monitor off of the Mac, I managed to get the PC with the tools working. I should have a char, a mixed cleric, done in under an hour.

Mr. Mud
2009-11-30, 07:19 PM
Wahoo for ingenuity! And okay, I'm trying to scope out a level 6 item...
