I have a technical question. I've seen people post links to stuff in the manner of "You can find it here," and the word "here" links to another page. How do you do that?
Forgive my forum noobness, please. :smallfrown:

Very simply, I had this problem too.

First, click "insert link". It's under the little smiley face on the message bar.

Then, paste the URL you want to link.

Lastly, type in the text in the highlighted area.

Thank you, Anatharon. I am one step closer to being a competent forum-goer!

Just to give a "power-user" tip, I find that it's easier to write out the entire post that I intended without the link, then highlight the words that you want to be contained in the links and hit the world-chain icon and paste the URL into the dialog. That way, you don't have to break up your thinking with the geekery

Or, to code it manually, use this:

[ url = link's URL goes here ]I am your link text.[ /url ]

With the spaces removed.
