Well, I was looking at the Duskling from MoI and I was wondering if there was any clever use of their Fey type that would give them an edge over Azurins in any circumstances? Any great alter self forms with fey? Or are there some fey specific feats?

The Charming the Arrow (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fey/20030815a) feat is a Fey-specific Charisma-based incarnation of Zen Archery.

Pixies have very nice Flight. Much better for Alter Self than a Raptoran.

Satyr speed, Natural Armor and headbutt aren't bad. Nothing to write home about either.

In the same vein, Splinterwaifs from the MM3 have 50 ft speed, 50 ft climb, 2 claws, 2 NA, +10 hide and Improved Initiative as a bonus feat.

...Beyond that I'm drawing a blank.
